For over ten years, Sonia TIR has been at the crossroads of public policy, media and culture. Trained as a journalist, she worked with France Télévisions and Bangumi(Quotidien, Stupéfiant!, Envoyé Spécial), before joining the City of Paris. There, she performed strategic steering functions as cabinet director on health issues, after coordinating crisis communications and the legacy of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Within the community, she has initiated or accompanied several emblematic campaigns with strong symbolic and civic impact: Nuit Blanche, Vers Paris sans sida, Bal de l'Amour for the 10th anniversary of marriage for all, and the artistic direction of condoms for the City of Paris. His approach combines political acumen, media intuition and a culture of impact.
She joined WEMEAN in 2025 to help senior executives meet the challenges of sensitive communication, public image and societal commitment, drawing on her in-depth knowledge of institutions, opinion dynamics and contemporary narratives.
Author of the essay Sortir du placard : LGBT en politique (Fayard, 2024), co-founder of Editions Marcel, she is also developing a freelance publishing activity. She is a board member of Ecotable and the French-American Foundation.
