Recalling the results of WEMEAN's exclusive study " Raison d'être & société à mission: where does the SBF120 stand?Sophie Chassat & Béatrice Mandine shared their experience and expertise of raison d'être, as defined in the PACTE law, through its implementation at Orange.
This was an opportunity to look back at the impact of raison d'être on Orange's governance (with the example of the raison d'agir committee chaired by Ebba Kalondo), but also to take a look at the European perspective, at the dawn of the French presidency of the European Union.
" The French model is quite singular, putting meaning before standards in terms of social and environmental commitment. Italy is another example, with its Societa Benefit. Europe is in the process of getting to grips with the subject, with the ambition of the French presidency to make a success of the environmental and social transition, around European values."
